I am Sifiso Mbatha an employee of the development bank of southern Africa. I have a PHD qualifications and Masters in Public management Ethics received with Distinction at the University of South Africa. Previously, I worked in Academic environment as senior Lecturer at Universities where I spent 6years and later moved on to service Municipalities in South Africa on Skills development issues. I have also set up skills development with other Regional Bodies in Local governance . Currently, I work at Development Bank of Southern Africa at a senior level, and responsible for employee development in Sub-Saharan Africa. I also work with Association of African DFI's to provide and SADC DFRC in capacity building environment.

At the core of our mandate, DBSA seeks to play a pivotal role in delivering developmental infrastructure in South Africa and the rest of Africa. The strategy of the DBSA is to provide sustainable infrastructure project preparation, Finance and implementation support in selected African markets to improve the quality of life of people, in support of economic growth and regional integration. Our work targets investments mainly in the Energy, transport, water and communications sectors. we also provide support to sectors such as health, education and housing.
